Notes from the Alchemist: Selecting Your Goddess
A guide to finding the right ritual for your skin’s current season.
In the workshop, I often get asked: "Which oil is right for me?" The truth is, our skin—much like the moon—moves in cycles. Sometimes we need the protective boundary of a shield, and other times we need the deep, restorative magic of a well.
Here is how I view the three pillars of our current collection:
Hecate: The Guardian of the Threshold
Hecate is where the journey begins. If you are new to botanical alchemy or simply need a reliable, daily rhythm, she is your guardian.
The Alchemy: Earthy and grounded. She focuses on maintaining the skin’s natural barrier.
The Ritual: Use her in the morning as a protective seal before you step out into the world.
Eir: The Healer’s Resurrection
When your skin feels tired, depleted, or "weathered" by the sun and time, we call upon Eir. This isn't just an oil; it’s a cellular renewal treatment.
The Alchemy: We use Bakuchi (the gentle, "moonlight" alternative to retinol) and CoQ10 to wake up the skin’s healing response without the harshness of traditional chemicals.
The Ritual: Apply at night when the body is in its natural repair state. Let the warm notes of Cardamom and Ginger ground your spirit while the Saffron Squalane works its magic.
Brigid: The Fire of Inspiration
For those who want the absolute peak of botanical luxury, Brigid is our most complex creation. She is the "lustre" oil—designed to bring a poetic glow to your lips, brows, and lashes.
The Alchemy: Rare Lupine Seed and Rose create a floral, resinous elixir that conditions and strengthens.
The Ritual: This is your finishing touch. A drop on the lips, a swipe through the brows. It’s for the moments you want to feel truly "forged" and radiant.
